The concept behind this series of images is inspired by a story I heard, where the protagonist at the point of drowning, recalled the most important thing, the long-lost love of a childhood sweetheart. It stuck with me and had a real pathos to it. It also resonated with the song, Song to the Siren (This Mortal Coil version) and I used those lyrics and that general mood to create a series of images. It's a work in progress The figures are floating, ethereal, some iconoclastic, others ghost-like.

There are three of these. They look great as a set but can be bought individually.
